Engie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, then in 2015 it went to her brain, bones and then her liver.

Her motto was:

“I strive to live in the moment and grab hold of joy wherever I can”

Engie enjoyed life, any time she had the energy to be active and have fun she did. Until the last minute Engie, her family and friends were all hoping that research would produce a miracle chemo or medicine to save her and save all who suffer like her, from that beast.
